Caramel Slice
  1. Mix together Base ingredients, press into 28x 18cm*/ 7 x11" pan lined with baking/parchment paper. Bake for 15 min until golden 180C let cool slightly. LOWER oven to 160C

  2. Caramel: Melt butter and sugar over medium low heat, whisk to melt sugar. As soon as it starts to bubble, add condensed milk and whisk constantly. When you start to see some big slow bubbles appearing, whisk for another minute then remove, then whisk in vanilla.

  3. Pour onto Base. Bake for 12 min, remove. Cool on counter 20 min then refrigerate 30 min.

  4. Melt Chocolate in microwave in 30 second bursts, then stir through oil. Pour onto caramel, shake pan to smooth surface, refrigerate until set.

  5. Cut into bars or squares (use a hot dry knife for really clean slices.)
