If the mixture feels runny, place it in the fridge for 15-30 minutes to firm up
Heat a nonstick pan over medium-low heat and add 1 tsp olive oil or spray oil
Use a small ice cream scoop to portion the meat mixture into the pan, adding 5-7 dumplings at a time, making sure they aren't touching
Place a dumpling or wonton wrapper on top of each scoop of meat
Pour a small amount of water into the pan, then cover with a lid to steam
Steam for 4-7 minutes, checking occasionally to ensure there's enough water for continued steaming
Once fully cooked, remove from the pan and drizzle with chili oil, then top with green onions or sesame seeds if desired
