Break or chop chocolate into small pieces.
Add all ingredients apart from the butter into a heatproof bowl, or double boiler.
Stir over a pot of gently simmering water until combined, then whisk (very very) well until emulsified and glossy.
Or, use a stick blender to make your life much easier.
Whisk in Butter.
Portion into glass jars.
Tie a ribbon around.
Store in fridge until you're ready to gift to a friend.
To serve; heat gently in the microwave in 30 second bursts, stirring in between until pourable.
