Pre-heat a pot over medium heat with olive oil, saute onions with salt until translucent.
Add garlic, carrots, celery, thyme, tarragon, paprika, and salt. Stir well.
Add wild rice, lentils, and broth. Cover and bring to a boil, then simmer for 25 minutes.
Heat a pan, add oil, and cook seitan for 5 minutes.
Test the soup for seasoning, then serve into individual bowls.
