Onion pot roast
  1. Pre-heat oven to 250 f

  2. Dry and season roast with salt and peppers

  3. Add oil to large Dutch oven and heat to medium-high

  4. Sear all sides of the roast

  5. Set roast aside

  6. Sauté onions until softened

  7. Add garlic and cook for another minute

  8. Place roast over onions

  9. Mix Worcestershire sauce with beef stock

  10. Pour mixture around roast. Do not immerse the roast - leave at least ½ inch exposed.

  11. Spread onion soup mix over the roast

  12. Cover Dutch oven and cook for two hours.

  13. After two hours turn off oven. Do not open oven.

  14. Leave in oven for at least 30 minutes.
