The Laziest Seitan I’ve Ever Made. Also The Best.
  1. Mix dry ingredients in the pot

  2. Mix wet ingredients in the jug

  3. Slowly add the wet mixture to the dry. Don’t put it all in at once, you don’t want the mixture over-wet

  4. Use a spatula to mix it all together then knead the dough in the pot

  5. Shape into 10 patties

  6. Cover with boiling stock

  7. Simmer with the lid on for around an hour. Make sure it’s actually bubbling away on a simmer and not too low - you don’t want to poach them. Also, be warned — they’ll at least double in size!

  8. Keep them submerged — this is what keeps them juicy

  9. Done
