  5. Pour onto parchment-lined baking sheet and spread quickly.

  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot toffee. Let them melt, then spread evenly.

  7. Top with chopped nuts if using.

  8. Chill in fridge or freezer until firm. Break into pieces and enjoy.
