Homemade Apple Turnovers
  1. Peeled and dice your apples.

  2. Place in a saucepan with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix to coat.

  3. Let simmer on medium heat for about 8-10 minutes.

  4. Take out heat and let cool for about 10 minutes.

  5. Once cooled, unfold your puff pastry and cut each sheet in four squares on a lightly floured surface.

  6. Make your egg wash, brush around edges.

  7. Add apple filling the middle of each pastry.

  8. Fold into a triangle.

  9. Using a fork seal the edges.

  10. Brush turnovers with the rest of your egg wash.

  11. Bake at 400F for 23-25 minutes until golden brown.

  12. Let cool for a little bit while making your drizzle.

  13. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk to a bowl and mix until combined.

  14. Drizzle icing/drizzle on top of turnovers.
