Ingredients:
Line a 9×13 pan with foil. Butter the foil.
Arrange half of the crackers in the bottom of the buttered pan in a flat layer.
Pour one-third of the melted caramel over the crackers in the pan and spread into an even layer.
Sprinkle half of the pecans on top of the caramel, then top with one-third more of the caramel.
Top the caramel layer with the remaining crackers. Pour the remaining caramel on top of the crackers and spread into an even layer.
In a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl, microwave the chocolate chips uncovered for 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until melted and smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate over the caramel and spread evenly. Top with the remaining pecans.
Let cool until the chocolate has hardened. To speed up the process, you can cool them in the fridge. 8. Allow bars to come back to room temperature before cutting and serving to avoid hard caramel.
Cut into bars and serve. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
