  1. Prepare firm tofu by cutting into desired pieces

  2. In a pan, combine soy sauce, water, sesame oil, gochugaru, minced garlic, and sugar

  3. Add tofu to the braising liquid

  4. Cook for approximately 20 minutes until tofu is braised and flavors are absorbed

  5. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds to taste

  6. Serve hot or store in the refrigerator for later use
