Buttery Sourdough Pull Apart Bread
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sourdough starter, melted butter, milk, sugar, and salt.

  2. Add the flour and mix until a shaggy dough forms.

  3. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 5-10 minutes until smooth.

  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size, about 4 hours.

  5. Punch down the dough and divide it into small balls.

  6. Arrange the balls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for another 1-2 hours.

  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  8. Bake the pull-apart bread for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

  9. Brush with melted butter and serve warm.
