Weigh all ingredients in grams using a kitchen weighing scale for perfect results
Sift all dry ingredients together: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add fine sugar and mix well
In the same bowl, add egg, oil, vanilla essence, and milk. Mix well. Add hot water and mix thoroughly
Grease an 8 inch square glass dish with oil
Bake at 170°C for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean with no wet crumbs
While cake is hot, drizzle with milk syrup made from hot milk, sugar, and vanilla
For ganache: mix heavy cream and dark chocolate chips. Microwave for 60 seconds and mix well. Allow to cool completely
Pour cooled ganache over the chilled cake and refrigerate for 1-2 hours
For white chocolate decoration: microwave white chocolate chips with heavy cream for 30-40 seconds and drizzle over ganache
