Pan Seared Southwestern Salmon & Orzo
  1. Prepare orzo per package directions. Drain and set aside. Season both sides of the salmon with 2 Tbsp. of Marie’s Market Reserve Southwest Style Ranch Dressing.

  2. Add 2 Tbsp. of oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Arrange the salmon, skin side down, in the pan. Cook for 5-6 minutes or until the sides are brown. Using a spatula, turn the fillets over. Cook for an additional 3 minutes or until the salmon reaches your desired doneness. Remove the fillets from the pan and set aside.

  3. Add 1 Tbsp. of oil to the skillet along with the chopped bell peppers, cilantro, black beans, and cook for 3 minutes. Add in orzo, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, water, and 2 Tbsp. of Marie’s Market Reserve Southwest Style Ranch Dressing. Stir and cook for about 5 minutes.

  4. Return the salmon fillets to the pan and place on top of the orzo.

  5. Garnish with additional cilantro, if desired, and serve.
