  1. To make the marinade for the sate, put the following ingredients in a blender, food processor or use an immersion blender.

  2. Blend thoroughly and pour over the cubed meat.

  3. Do not marinate overnight, but only for a few hours. Place the meat on skewers.

  4. Mix well the cooking oil and soy sauce, pour into a large shallow dish. Roll each skewer in the seasoned oil before barbecuing.

  5. For the peanut sauce, heat oil in a heavy skillet and fry the thinly sliced onions until crisp.

  6. Drain the onions well and blend with water, soy sauce, peanuts, brown sugar, lime juice, and garlic.

  7. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and bring to a boil over low heat. Adjust thickness with water or milk if needed.

  8. Remove from heat and add minced raw onion, Tabasco sauce, and or any optional sauce ie sriacha for extra flavor.
