Strawberry Dump Cake
  1. Preheat oven to 350º F.

  2. Cut butter into small pieces, about 40 pats of butter total

  3. Pour pie filling into the base of a 13x9 inch baking dish.

  4. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the top.

  5. Arrange the pats of butter evenly over the top of the cake mix so it is evenly covered.

  6. Bake for about 45 minutes until the top is golden brown and completely set.

  7. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing to serve.

  8. Serve topped with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
