Preheat oven to 175C.
Break up the tofu and place it into a food processor. Run the processor for around a minute until the tofu is broken down.
Add all of the remaining ingredients and let the food processor run for a couple of minutes until the mixture forms a dough.
Remove the dough from the food processor and knead it with your hands for about a minute, forming a loaf.
Divide the dough into three pieces. Roll each piece into a rope about 12 inches long. Pinch the top ends together and braid the pieces tightly.
Cut the braid in half and roll each half into ropes about 16-18 inches. Pinch the ropes together at the top and twist them tightly.
Roll the twisted rope on a smooth surface and cut it into 1 to 1.5 inch chunks. Flatten the chunks slightly with your thumb.
Lay a piece of parchment paper on a cookie sheet, sprinkle with steak seasoning, and lay the steak tips on the tray. Spray or brush with oil and roll in seasoning.
Cover the pan tightly with foil and bake for 15 minutes covered. Flip the steak tips using tongs, replace the foil, and bake for another 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool at room temperature. Once cooled, refrigerate or transfer to a storage container. Allow to rest for at least 5 hours before using.
