Heat oil on medium heat in a large stock pot
Brown onions and 2 cloves of garlic in oil
Put in tomato paste, water, wine, salt, pepper, bay leaves, and parmesan and bring to a boil
Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 2 hours
Crush the corn flakes
Combine meatball ingredients in a large bowl
Roll into balls about the size of a golf ball
Put into the sauce and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours
