Preheat oven to 350F and line a 9x5 loaf pan with parchment paper
Mix flour, salt and baking powder in a medium bowl and set aside
In a stand mixer bowl with whisk attachment, add butter and mix until creamy
Add sugar and mix until combined, scraping the bottom of the bowl
Add one egg at a time and mix until all eggs are combined
Remove from mixer and fold flour mixture in until almost combined
Add sour cream and vanilla, mix until combined
Transfer into loaf pan and bake for 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes, using toothpick test to check doneness
Cool in pan for 15 minutes before transferring to wire rack
For lemon glaze: sift powdered sugar in small bowl
Add lemon juice, vanilla and salt to powdered sugar, whisk until smooth
Drizzle lemon glaze over entire pound cake or individual slices
