Season chicken with salt and black pepper
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden, remove and set aside
In the same skillet melt butter, add mushrooms, and sauté until browned and tender
Add garlic and cook until fragrant
Pour in chicken broth and simmer 2 minutes, scraping the pan
Stir in heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and herbs, simmer until sauce thickens
Return chicken to skillet and spoon sauce over the top
Simmer 5–7 minutes until chicken is cooked through and coated in sauce
Garnish with parsley and serve hot
