Black Bean Chocolate Cake
  1. Place everything in a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Pour into 2 lined cake pans and bake at 170C for 22 to 25 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  3. Leave to cool completely before icing.

  4. Heat the cream in a small saucepan until it's just about to boil, but not yet.

  5. Add the chocolate and leave to sit for 5 minutes and then stir until smooth.

  6. Leave to cool until it's room temperature (just not really hot is ok).

  7. Meanwhile, in a food processor or with an electric mixer, beat the butter until it's light and fluffy.

  8. Add the room temperature chocolate mixture, and mix until smooth.

  9. If the frosting feels too runny, place in the fridge for 30 minutes to firm up.

  10. Frost all over your cake and enjoy.
