Pound the beef to tenderize it.
Marinate the beef in a mixture of soy sauce, calamansi, brown sugar, and black pepper.
Fry the beef in a pan.
Set aside the cooked beef and make the sauce by simmering the marinade.
Add oil and chopped onions and saute until translucent.
Add the cooked beef, marinade, and water then simmer for 15 mins.
In a separate pan, fry the round onions.
Serve the beef steak over rice.
