Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles
  1. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook 2–3 minutes until softened.

  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat.

  4. Stir in garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using), and cook 1 minute more.

  5. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce (if using), water, and cornstarch until smooth.

  6. Pour sauce into skillet, stirring to coat the beef. Simmer 2–3 minutes until thickened.

  7. Add cooked noodles, tossing to combine and heat through.

  8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve hot.
