Homemade Soft Pretzels
  1. Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, combine 3 ¼ cups of flour, Greek yogurt, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and 1 teaspoon salt. Mix until a dough forms.

  2. Form a Dough Ball: Use your hands to gather the dough and form it into a ball.

  3. Divide and Shape: Divide the dough into four equal parts. Roll each piece into a long rope, about 18-20 inches in length.

  4. Twist the Pretzels: Shape each rope into a U, cross the ends over each other, and press them down at the base of the U to form a pretzel shape.

  5. Prepare for Baking: Place the pretzels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds and salt.

  6. Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 23 minutes. Increase the temperature to 500°F and bake for an additional 6 minutes to brown. Keep an eye on them when the heat is high!
