Crispy Garlic Parmesan Chicken With Creamy Herb Sauce
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise to make thinner cutlets.

  3. Season with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.

  4. Dip each cutlet into beaten egg, then coat with a breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture (breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika).

  5. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat and pan-fry chicken until golden brown (about 3–4 minutes per side).

  6. Transfer chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15 minutes, until fully cooked through.

  7. Meanwhile, make the sauce: melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, and cook 1 minute. Slowly add chicken broth and whisk until smooth. Stir in heavy cream, garlic powder, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.

  8. Pour sauce over crispy chicken, garnish with parsley, and serve hot with mashed potatoes or vegetables.
