Phyllo Pinwheels (phyllo Cupcakes)
  1. Roll the phyllo into a loose roll and cut into 12 even pieces

  2. Place the phyllo pieces into a muffin tin

  3. Pour melted butter onto each piece and brush to ensure the edges are coated with butter

  4. Place into a 350°F oven for about an hour or until golden and crispy

  5. While baking, make the simple syrup by dissolving sugar and water in a pot and cooking for about 6-7 minutes

  6. Remove syrup from heat and add blossom water and lemon juice

  7. Set syrup aside to cool completely

  8. Remove phyllo from oven and immediately pour the cooled syrup over the hot phyllo

  9. Allow the phyllo to absorb the syrup

  10. Top with ice cream, nuts, fruit, or desired toppings and serve
