Preheat your oven to 180 degrees.
Add the diced meat, tomatoes, peppers, onion, garlic and tomato paste in a deep bowl. Drizzle olive oil over it, add spices and water. Mix all ingredients well.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish or casserole. Cover the dish with baking paper.
Bake in a preheated oven for about 1-1.5 hours, until the meat is tender. At the end of the cooking time, remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes to brown the top.
Serve hot. It goes very well with fresh bread.
