Perrine's Almond Sticks
  1. Mix the butter, sugar, a bit of salt and the egg until it becomes a smooth dough

  2. Add the almonds and the flour and mix it well

  3. Rest the dough for about 30 minutes

  4. Roll the dough out into a rectangle about 1cm thick

  5. Brush it with egg yolk

  6. Cut out 4cm x 1cm sticks with a knife

  7. Bake for about 12 minutes at 400F/200C
