Orange Sauce, San Jose Style
  1. Broil your cut up tomatoes, onion, and garlic for 10 minute until nice and charred, flipping half way through.

  2. Remove the stems and seeds from your chilles and toaste thme over med-low heat until tender.

  3. Add the toasted chiles to your blender with water and apple cider vinegar and let them sit for 10 minutes.

  4. Blend on high for 1 minute and then switch to low while incorporating 1 cup of oil.

  5. Add in all of your broiled ingredients from earlier and kick it back up to high to blend until smooth.

  6. Add salt to taste if you like, but let it mellow in the fridge overnight for best flavor.
