Blanch the noodles in a large pan of boiling salted water for 2 minutes, or until they are barely soft.
Drain the noodles well and toss immediately with the sesame oil.
Arrange the noodles on a serving platter.
Mix all the sauce ingredients in a small pan and season with ½ teaspoon of salt and a touch of white pepper.
Bring the sauce to a simmer.
Allow the sauce to cool slightly and toss with the noodles.
Serve at once.
