Preheat oven to 200 degrees
Cut butter dough into strips, small enough to wrap each apple piece (1 sheet per apple)
Slice apple and cut out the middle of each piece to look like a donut (1 apple makes 4 donuts)
Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl
Coat each piece of apple in the cinnamon sugar mixture
Wrap each piece of apple with dough strips (like making a pompom, through the middle and around)
Brush with egg
Sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a nice colour
