Apple Crumble Overnight Oats (an M&s Dupe)
  1. Core the apples and chop into small pieces (leave the skin on, it softens down nicely and you get extra fibre). Tip into a saucepan with the cinnamon, lemon juice and 2-3 tbsp water. Cover, put over a medium heat until you start to hear it bubble, then turn the heat down low and let it cook for about 10 minutes, stirring once or twice so nothing catches on the bottom. You’re looking for the apples to go soft - it doesn’t need to break down completely. If it looks dry at any point, splash in a little more water.

  2. In a bowl, mix the oats, yoghurt, milk, chia, cinnamon, a pinch of salt and sweetener to taste. Stir in the cooked apple once it’s cooled slightly. The mixture should look quite wet and slightly loose at this stage - it will thicken up a lot overnight. Divide between two jars or containers, pop the lids on and leave in the fridge overnight (or for at least 4 hours).

  3. Mix the almonds, oats, maple syrup, oil, cinnamon and salt until everything’s lightly coated. Air fry at 180ºC for 10-12 minutes, tossing halfway so it browns evenly (or put on a lined tray in the oven).

  4. In the morning, stir in a splash more milk to loosen the oats to a texture you like, then scatter the crumble on top just before eating.
