Chop an orange in half
Eat the central part of the orange but leave the core pith intact (this is usually the top half of the which has the little green branch/pip on the outside)
To help, get a sharp pairing knife or grapefruit knife and score around the outside of the segments to help release them
Cut a slice off the base of the orange (outside) so it sits on your table without wobbling
Fill ¾ of the empty space with an odourless oil - some people suggest olive oil but I don't want to waste good oil so I bought a cheap groundnut oil
Leave a bit of the pith (wick) exposed
Try to light it - it might take a few attempts if the pith got any juice on it
Once lit, enjoy, or core out a hole from the top of the other orange half and place on top (the edges of the hole might burn a little but I love the scent)
