Marinate the pork in a mixture of soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and five-spice powder for at least 30 minutes (or up to 24 hours).
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Place the marinated pork in the air fryer basket and cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until the pork is cooked through and caramelized.
Optional: Brush the pork with a little red food coloring for the classic char siu color.
Slice the char siu and serve with rice, noodles, or as part of a larger meal.
