Cabbage Lasagna
  1. Quarter one cabbage and boil the quarters in water for 3 minutes

  2. Remove cabbage and let cool and pat dry

  3. Brown one pound of hamburger

  4. Add jarred pasta sauce to the browned hamburger

  5. Mix together 1.5 cups ricotta, 0.5 cup parmesan, 1 beaten egg, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a bowl

  6. Butter a 9x13 baking dish

  7. Add a small layer of sauce to the bottom of the baking dish

  8. Add a layer of cabbage quarters

  9. Add a layer of ricotta mixture and more sauce

  10. Repeat the layers

  11. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes

  12. Let rest 10 to 15 minutes before cutting and serving
