Melt the butter in the microwave.
Add the sugar and milk to the melted butter and mix.
Add the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt) and mix until combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Form the dough into a ball, press it down, and place it on parchment paper.
Add more chocolate chips on top if desired.
Microwave the cookie for 1-1.15 minutes. It should be very soft when it comes out.
Allow the cookie to cool for 5 minutes before eating.
