Dry roast the black pepper and salt on medium-low heat until fragrant.
Add the rinsed jasmine rice, canned sweetcorn, diced carrots, water, chicken stock powder, oyster sauce, and dark soy sauce to the rice cooker. Mix well.
Spread the sliced onions and beef over the rice mixture.
Sprinkle the remaining black pepper and salt over the beef.
Cook the rice in the rice cooker.
Once cooked, add the butter and chopped spring onions. Mix well and adjust seasoning as needed.
