Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookies- Lilly Lou Tay
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, sugars, vanilla, egg, baking powder, salt, and optional sourdough discard. Mix together.

  3. Add all purpose flour and fold into batter.

  4. Add chocolate chips and fold into dough.

  5. Throw your dough in fridge for 30 minutes.

  6. Grease your baking sheet or use parchment paper to cover your baking sheet.

  7. After 30 minutes, using the chilled dough, making little balls of cookie dough and place on your baking sheet. The size is up to you! Place on baking sheet with about an inch apart so the cookies can expand.

  8. Put in oven for 8-12 minutes. I like to add some sea salt on top of my cookies but do what makes you happy!

  9. Let cool and eat em up!
