Creamy Orzo With Chicken Sausage
  1. In a pot drizzle olive oil and 1 tbsp butter

  2. Add in one chopped shallot and 4 cloves of chopped garlic

  3. Simmer for 1 minute until fragrant

  4. Add a dash of red pepper flakes

  5. Pour in 1.5 cups of orzo

  6. Then add in your chicken broth just to cover the orzo

  7. Let cook with lid on for 10-15 minutes

  8. Add a splash of cream or milk

  9. Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning

  10. Add in handful of grated Parmesan and spinach

  11. Mix until well combined

  12. Add juice of one lemon

  13. Lastly sautee chopped chicken sausage and add to your pot

  14. Top with another sprinkle of parm and enjoy!
