In a pot drizzle olive oil and 1 tbsp butter
Add in one chopped shallot and 4 cloves of chopped garlic
Simmer for 1 minute until fragrant
Add a dash of red pepper flakes
Pour in 1.5 cups of orzo
Then add in your chicken broth just to cover the orzo
Let cook with lid on for 10-15 minutes
Add a splash of cream or milk
Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning
Add in handful of grated Parmesan and spinach
Mix until well combined
Add juice of one lemon
Lastly sautee chopped chicken sausage and add to your pot
Top with another sprinkle of parm and enjoy!
