Basil Salt
  1. Preheat oven to 220 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Separate basil leaves from stems

  3. Wash basil leaves in water for 5-10 minutes

  4. Dry basil leaves with paper towels

  5. Add ⅔ cup of packed basil leaves to a food processor or blender

  6. Add 1 cup of coarse sea salt

  7. Pulse until combined, scraping down sides as needed

  8. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper

  9. Spread the mixture onto the prepared cookie sheet

  10. Bake for 30-40 minutes at 220 degrees Fahrenheit

  11. Allow to cool completely

  12. Break into pieces and add back to blender

  13. Blend again until desired consistency is reached

  14. Package and store
