Oyster Mushroom Pâté

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.

  2. Add the chopped oyster mushrooms to the skillet and cook until the liquid has evaporated.

  3. Pour the white wine into the skillet and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom.

  4. Transfer the mushroom mixture to a food processor along with the heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Process until smooth.

  5. Stir in fresh herbs.

  6. Transfer the pâté to a serving dish and chill until firm. Serve with crackers, bread, or vegetables.
