Grilled Cheese Spread
  1. Leave the cream cheese to sit out to room temperature. About one hour before making the recipe.

  2. When the cream cheee is soft, add it to a bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer. Beat on high until light and fluffy, then slowly beat in the pickle juice.

  3. Add the mayonnaise and beat this on high until this is all light an fluffy. Add the Beau Monde seasoning, if using and mix well to combine.

  4. Grate the muenter cheese into a thick shred.

  5. Slowly add the cheese into the cream cheese mixture a hadful at a time. Mix until well combined.

  6. This can store in the fridge for a week or two.

  7. To make the grilled cheese sandwiches, let the spread soften so that it is spreadable.

  8. Use a more dense bread, spread 3 to 4 tablespoons on the bread. Top with another slice of bread. Spread the outer side of the bread with some mayonnaise. Fry up in a skillet until toasty brown and the cheese is melted.

  9. You can also eat this grilled cheese spread on crackers as a dip. If I was serving as a dip, I would top with thinly sliced chives.
