Strawberries & Cream Butter Swim Biscuit
  1. Preheat oven to 450°F

  2. Place sliced butter in a 9×9-inch or 2.5-quart dish and bake 5–7 minutes until melted and bubbling. Remove carefully

  3. Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl

  4. Whisk buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla in a separate bowl

  5. Stir wet ingredients into dry just until combined. Do not over-mix

  6. Gently fold in strawberries

  7. Pour batter into hot butter, spread evenly, and score into 9 squares. Place dish on a rimmed sheet pan

  8. Bake 25–30 minutes until golden and set, tenting if needed

  9. Cool 10–15 minutes

  10. Whisk powdered sugar, milk/cream, vanilla, and salt until smooth

  11. Fold in strawberries and adjust consistency as needed

  12. Drizzle glaze over warm biscuits. Let set 10 minutes before serving
