Fairy Bread Melting Moments
  1. Preheat oven to 180°c and line a large baking tray with baking paper.

  2. Using an electric mixer, cream together the butter and the icing sugar until light and creamy.

  3. Add sifted flour and custard powder into the butter mixture and mix using the electric mixer. Add in the sprinkles and mix.

  4. Roll into teaspoon-sized balls and arrange on the tray, allowing space to spread slightly. Press down on each of the biscuits lightly with a fork dipped in flour.

  5. Bake for 12 minutes.

  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.

  7. Using an electric mixer, cream together the icing sugar, butter, custard powder and food colouring.

  8. Add in the sprinkles and mix.

  9. Add filling to one side of the cooled biscuits and sandwich them together.
