Delicious Blueberry Bars
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) conventional heat (160°C / 320°F fan). Grease and line a rectangular pan with parchment paper.

  2. Cream the soft butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt, then gradually add to the batter, alternating with the milk. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.

  3. Spread the blueberry jam thinly over the batter.

  4. Distribute the fresh blueberries evenly on top of the batter. Mix the yogurt, egg, sugar, vanilla extract, and cornstarch until smooth. Pour the yogurt mixture over the blueberries and swirl lightly with a spoon or fork.

  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the yogurt layer is set and lightly golden. Let the cake cool completely in the pan.

  6. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
