Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon.
Remove excess fat, then add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté until vegetables soften.
Stir in the rice, chicken broth, Cajun seasoning, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
Fluff rice with a fork, stir in green onions, and serve hot.
