Homemade Onion Powder
  1. Preserve your onion skins (we like to keep them in a bag in a cool dry area until an accumulate the skins from about 6-8 onions).

  2. Give the onion skins a good wash (& use this leftover water to fertilize your plants.. it will be rich in potassium 🌱)

  3. Pat them dry, then lay them in a single layer on baking sheets lined with parchment.

  4. Dehydrate in the oven at the lowest setting until they are dry and brittle (easily snap in your fingers).

  5. Place in a blender or food processor until a fine powder forms.
