Mix together the condensed milk, water and yeast till frothy, then stir in 1 cup of flour and leave covered for 15 minutes.
Stir in the remaining 6 cups flour and salt, knead till springy and supple.
Cover and leave to rise for ¾ of an hour.
Roll out dough, shape into loaves, place in loaf tins, let rise further.
Brush loaves with melted butter, bake at 220 C for 8 minutes, then lower temperature to 180 C and bake for 45 minutes.
