1 (16-oz) package spaghetti noodles
1 jar of alfredo sauce or make homemade
1 lb ground beef and/or Italian sausage
1 (24-oz) jar spaghetti sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions for al dente.
Toss cooked spaghetti with the alfredo sauce. Use tongs to spread spaghetti into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
In a large skillet, cook Italian sausage or ground beef over medium heat until browned and no longer pink. Drain excess grease. Stir in a jar of your favorite marinara sauce. Spread meat sauce over the alfredo layer. Top casserole with cheeses.
Bake for 45 minutes until bubbly and the cheese has melted and golden. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
