Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
Add mushrooms and soy sauce, cook until mushrooms are soft and fragrant.
Transfer mixture to a food processor, add walnuts, salt, and pepper.
Blend until smooth pate consistency is achieved.
Spoon into a serving bowl, garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve with fresh bread, crackers, in sandwiches, or on toast.
