Day 1-3: Add 50 g of brown rice flour and 60 g of water to your glass jar/bowl and mix well. Cover with a secured coffee filter or tea cloth. Place in a warm location. Repeat this process twice a day.
Day 4-7: Discard 1-2 small scoops from the jar before feeding. Add 50 g of brown rice flour and 60 g of water as before. Cover and place in a warm location. Repeat this process twice a day.
By the end of the 7 days, your starter should have bubbles and look slightly foamy. If not, continue the process.
To maintain your starter, keep it on the counter if using frequently, feeding it once a day. If not baking often, store it in the fridge and feed it once a week.
